The large advantage and key strength of using LED lighting over conventional lighting is the reduced power consumption. LED bulb is capable of converting 80% of the electrical energy used into light energy. The left over 20% electrical energy is lost as heat energy. Incandescent light bulbs only convert 20% of the electrical energy utilized into actual light energy, which means that a staggering eighty% of electrical energy is lost as heat energy. When you compare the 80% efficiency of LED lights with the 20% efficiency of incandescent lights, the optimal choice of light bulb is quite apparent.
LED lights are used from stair-nose lighting, light line, wall wash lights and signage illumination to colour-changing till numbers and controls, architectural lights and freezer lighting.
History
In early 1940?s Mr. Dionisio Pornel the group?s grandfather decided to built the first advertising company here in the Philippines. With its current Commander-in-Chief, President Manuel L. Quezon, the country is still recovering from WWII and the cities were so busy trying to do business to get back on their feet again. Until people can already buy transportation vehicle and their financial status were increasing and entrepreneurs? businesses booming, Mr. Pornel who?s also struggling to survive observed and thought of a unique business he could start that fit on the current status of the country. Eventually, he discover a new service technology in advertising industry that he thought could be a hit business, as of his marketing research, entrepreneurs that time had a very weak marketing strategies and only reached 30-50% of their target market because of its lack of commercials or advertisements. He soon exported the new machinery & equipment, hired a couple of workers and started a home based advertising company that fabricates NEON lights for business signs and NEON Billboard Lights. He named the company, ACME ADVERTISING which became the first advertising company in the Philippines that manufactured NEON light signs.
By the year 1978 ACME was transferred over the hands of his sons. Handling the business was not that difficult for the siblings because their father used to expose them on their family business so they learned one or two about the industry and captured his interests. As they took over their business they made slight to major changes, they first renamed it to ASEANA LIGHTS ADVERTISING COMPANY (ALAC) then in year 1980-2009 he added Canopies and Awning, Backlit Flexi lights, Directional Display Box, LED Lights and Digital Printing as products of service in fabricating business signs that which made their company improved and can more target a bigger market.
Many years had passed and there?s been a lot of change, year 2000 had come and ALAC seem somehow lost in this new phase and kind of in need a new chief. September 2009 the brothers retired and placed the company under a new management that one of their sons will take over. It?s a new generation of clients, lot of new competitors, new trends were set, new materials are needed, new equipments were bought and new staffs were hired. It?s a big obligation and responsibility for the new management but do not hesitate because if there?s one thing that they are known for, it?s that they can easily adapt and deal with changes.
ASIALITES ADVERTISING COMPANY (AAC) a new name that the new management agreed upon replacing the ASEANA LIGHTS ADVERTISING COMPANY (ALAC). For them it fits the new phase of the company and their target of being a renowned advertising company in Asia.
Taking it to a higher level the new management added a new service, featuring the ASIALITES GLASS & ALUMINUM SERVICES which caters one of the major materials in construction industry.
True that almost everything?s new but the company?s purpose, goal and values will still be the same.
ASIALITES remains a family business under the control of third generation of the Suntay Group.
As indication of our highly satisfied clients, we have installed and fabricated numerous signs from as far as Aparri in the north, Queen City in the south, Cebu and some parts of the southern tagalong provinces. (Refer to the list of clients).
